Description

TPR Events are thrilled to announce the return of the Tour de Broads cycling event. Our largest cycling event of the year takes in as many of the Norfolk broads that we can reach on the roads with stunning picturesque roads in between. This event will return to Norfolk on Sunday 11th August 2024 at a stunning location – Octagon Park, home of our Charity Partners Nelsons Journey.

Tour de Broads is our take on the famous Tour de France cycling race that takes place every year across the whole of France. Tour de Broads offers you the chance to ride through the stunning Norfolk broads taking in as many of Norfolk’s lovely country roads and quiet lanes to explore some of Norfolk’s best kept secrets. Every penny that is taken from your entry helps to give you the best day possible and any left over TPR Events reinvests it back into local cycling ventures and community projects.

Tour de Broads is a recreational cycle ride with routes and distances to suit all ages and abilities. It will feature 25, 50, 75 and 100 mile routes, as well as a family friendly ride. Held mainly on quiet roads each route will incorporate a bit of tarmac’d cycle paths and the occasional crossing of a bigger road. Our family ride should take you just one hour to cycle – perfect for little legs!

Fully supported with mobile mechanic, ‘broom wagon’ and drink stops along the way, prepare for all the British weather can throw at you and look forward to a well earned chunky medal and warm welcome upon your return.
