RSPB Go Wild!

RSPB Go Wild!

Your favourite off-roader is back for 2024 with the full support and backing of RSPB. Our mixed terrain cycle sportive explores the wilder parts of the beautiful Suffolk Coast. Starting at the incredible RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve before heading out to join up nature reserves and wildlife havens in the best possible way, on 2 wheels! There’s a family friendly 5m route, a 30m route and the full 65m challenge.

This is not a road event; it’s 50% off-road with no alternative sectors, it’s a route where you will get muddy and be grinning from ear to ear. The route has been carefully planned to take in some of the best off-road and quiet country lanes that you could possibly hope for and is suitable for any bike that is at home off-road, from a retro hardtail, to a bouncy full susser, or your latest shiny new gravel bike. There’s a bit of everything on this route; wide forest tracks, rooty singletrack, gravel, sand, mud and mellow lanes.

This is no ordinary Sportive. We’ve even managed to sort out access to few trails that are not normally open to bikes giving you a unique opportunity to ride restricted trails with the full management and backing of the RSPB. Don’t miss this one!
